I'm a senior software engineer from Atlanta, now living in San Diego. I work at Intuit on the team that handles sign in for TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma. Millions of people depend on us getting it right, especially during tax season.
I started writing code as a kid and got lucky enough to make a career out of it. I mostly enjoy backend work: distributed systems, identity infrastructure, the kind of stuff where correctness really matters.

2026 · in progressTech lead on a new SIM-based authenticator for Intuit sign in. Uses cryptographic SIM possession proof for seamless, phishing-resistant authentication. No OTP, no SMS, no carrier network required. Started as a hackathon project; targeting MVP rollout this summer.

2025Led the design and rollout of a mobile driver's license account recovery authenticator, from prototype to GA in one quarter. Launched first in California and is now live across several states.

2021 — 2022Built and modernized AWS-hosted Java/Spring APIs for a major fintech analytics product, consolidating legacy Scala and CoffeeScript logic into a maintainable standardized backend. Authored architecture PoCs including a serverless-leaning proposal for Fiserv.

2019 — 2021Re-architected a monthly statement-generation pipeline for 2M banking customers. Redesigned the single-threaded process for parallel execution, cutting runtime from ~2 days to a few hours and resolving a major client escalation.
Identity & Authentication. Tech lead on new authenticator projects. Scrum master across two teams.
Sign-in orchestration. Owned authentication and recovery flows across SMS/Voice/Email OTP and identity-proofing pathways.
Built and modernized fintech AWS APIs. Wrote PySpark pipelines on Palantir Foundry with the CDC (NCEZID) supporting outbreak tracing.
Modernized a mission-critical Java batch workflow service. Re-architected a statement-generation pipeline for 2M banking customers, taking runtime from days to hours.
